Fucus Vesiculosis - Bladderwrack

Fucus Vesiculosus, also known as bladder wrack or black tang, is a brown seaweed found on the coasts of the North Sea, the Baltic Sea and the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans; it has been used for centuries in traditional medicine. Fucus Vesiculosus is regarded as a good source of dietary fibre, minerals, particularly iodine, and has a high nutritional value. Additionally, they are excellent prospects for a variety of medicinal uses due to their abundance of bioactive chemicals, which include fucoidan, phlorotannins, fucoxanthin, and others. It contains varying amounts of iodine, which might help prevent or treat some thyroid disorders.
